She Acts. She Produces. She Directs.

Letia Solomon, a woman of many facets, enjoys acting, producing, directing, and writing. Born to a Jamaican father retired from the U.S. Marines and a mother who works as a Project Manager, Letia has had a well-rounded childhood traveling most of her life. Her family set up roots in Albany, Georgia and then moved to Los Angeles in 2005. Letia studied Chemical Engineering at the University of California Riverside in Riverside, California and worked as a Materials Engineer in Aerospace after graduation in 2012. Although working as an engineer, Letia loved performing and pursued her passion for the arts in all of her free time. She studied acting and film at Choice Skinner’s Breaking Through Actor’s Workshop in Sherman Oaks, improv at The Groundlings, branding at Sam Christensen Studios, and filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA.

In 2015, Letia wrote and starred in her first short film “Untold,” which landed a featured spot in the 2015 Black Women Film Network Summit in Atlanta, Georgia and the 2016 S.E. Manly Short Film Showcase at Raleigh Studio in Los Angeles, CA. In addition, she created the LA Film & Arts Showcase as a platform to display her short film along with the works of other aspiring filmmakers and artists in the Los Angeles and Long Beach area. She later joined forces with Lightsup Entertainment to create the African World Film Festival in Detroit, MI in August of 2016. Along her journey, she has wrote and directed “Elevate” which has screened at the Indie Night Film Festival in Hollywood, CA and directed a student film project titled “Concrete Differences” under the Baron Jay Littleton Foundation. She currently acts, directs, and produces for various projects.

Letia is a dynamic force in front and behind the camera and constantly strives to be better than her previous work. Letia’s goal is to uplift, motivate, and inspire the community by being a vessel for all untold stories through acting and film. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
